Obama

To be honest, I've hardly had an interest in politics until this year. What makes this year different? We finally have a presidential candidate with integrity, vision, diplomacy, strong principles, and a lifetime of experience helping people in need. I'm looking forward to reading his book, "Audacity of Hope".

I'd like to share with you a message from a good friend:

"I want to take a few moments to share a few things with you. And I do this with the recognition that this is the first time I have ever outwardly promoted any political candidate as I am now doing with Obama. I realize that the primary season voting is over for most of you, (not over in OR, Karen) but I am hopeful that Obama will win the democratic nomination, so I am sending my thoughts anyway.

I have read a lot about Obama and have followed the democratic primary season very, very closely. I believe Obama is the best thing we have seen in our lifetime, politically speaking. If we fail to elect him as our next President, this country will have squandered a huge opportunity, an opportunity that the likes of which may not come again in our remaining years. He is a standout, and I truly believe we are looking at someone who can do as much and perhaps more in the Presidency as any President before him, including the likes of Lincoln and FDR. If he is elected as our next President, our international standing will immediately shoot up several points. You can be assured that Washington ’s business as usual will indeed change.

For those who say he does not have the experience, I am one of those who believe that judgment and the ability to solve problems and to bring people together trumps experience. As evidence, consider his campaign. When you consider the Clinton candidate inevitability, and the reach and hold that the Clinton machine has on democratic voters, Obama was expected to drop by the wayside early on. But his planning and execution of his campaign has far outstripped the same in the Clinton campaign, as several writings have suggested.

There is little comparison between him and the other politicians. He is in a whole different league. If you have not done so, read his book, ‘Audacity of Hope’. An easy read that really exposes Obama’s depth of knowledge and insight.

While I could send any number of things about Obama, I am sending the following because it provided some insights that other writings have not done. I hope you will find it helpful and informative." Click here:
