I'm not sure what the temp was, but I know it was -0 degrees at the base of the mountain. One good thing is that there were very few skiers. It was one of the coldest days I can ever remember, but it was invigorating. The two old hand warmers I found in my bag saved the day. I wouldn't have made it without those. Now to sit by the woodstove....
